Meet the Team
The Consultants
Phil Hutton
With a B.S. in plant pathology and an M.S. in entomology along with 32 years in EPA Pesticide Programs, Phil has the knowledge and experience to work with a wide variety of products and guide you efficiently through the regulatory process or help you comply with unfortunate and unexpected enforcement problems. At EPA, Phil handled almost every conceivable regulatory action as a science reviewer, product manager, branch chief, and finally as Associate Director of the Biopesticides and Pollution Prevention Division. During his career, he helped write many of the biopesticide and biotechnology regulations still in effect today and worked with regulators in other federal agencies and around the world.
Linda Hutton
Born and raised on a diverse agricultural operation with dairy, vegetables, and grain crops, Linda has a B.S. in animal science and 33 years of experience with Census of Agriculture both in the U.S. Department of Commerce and with the USDA. National Agricultural Statistics Service. During her career she served as Chief of the Livestock Branch and Chief of the Environmental, Economics, and Demographics Branch. In these positions she oversaw the production of many publications involving agricultural statistics including land values, age of farmers, pesticide usage, and monthly prices. She also coordinated the first Census of Aquaculture working over a decade with the many diverse sectors of this industry and is a recognized national expert in aquacultural statistics.
